Chucke Cheese, Again!

Marleigh and Jiles very excited as we are on our way to, yes-another, trip to Chucke Cheese! They are so funny. They remind me a lot of Rhea Anne and myself when we were younger. We loved to play with eachother, but we always experienced an occasional fight. We were just like sisters. Same go with Jiles and Marleigh, they love eachother, but they fight like brothers and sisters. I think it is funny to listen to, but it can get on your everlasting nerve.

We start school on this coming Tuesday, so we thought we would fit in one more trip to the famous Chucke Cheese. We ate pizza, played games, and listened to Chucke sing.

Here is a video of Marleigh and Jiles dancing with Chucke on the blue screen. Check out their moves! (Pause the music at the bottom so you can hear the beat!)

Hope everyone has a great weekend! Until next time-live, laugh, love!

Ballpark Babies!

I had to put in a picture of my super softball star husband. Here he hit a homerun, but it was for an out. Better luck next time, baby!

Here are the "Ballpark Babies!" They always have a blast together at the ballpark on the weekends. It is the one day of the week that Marleigh can't say, "There's nobody for me to play with!" We always seem to have to strip her down before we get in the car for our travel home. But, the best one to see at the end of the day is Hayden. Hayden, Marleigh's cousin, is always clean at the beginning of the day and by the end of the day, he is in normally his diaper with a ring around his mouth, sticky hands from Rice Krispy treats, and always with a smile. He is absolutely the funniest thing. Marleigh was "babysitting" him Saturday (she said)! I can't wait until she has a brother or a sister of her own to "babysit". She loves following him around and trying to take care of him. It will probably be different when it his her own brother or sister. Hunter, Marleigh's cousin, loves to play ball during the games-just like his daddy. They all had a great day of fun and of course, alot of sun. It was the hottest day of the summer Saturday. I was wringing wet by 10:30 in the morning. I hope everyone has a blessed and great week!

P.S. Everyone keep Rhea Anne Wyatt and Family in your prayers. Their final home visit is tomorrow. Also, Pray for this process to not be lengthy, but to be filled with excitement for a beautiful Korean baby!

This is exactly how I wanted to spend my day. Just kidding, it wasn't all that bad. With only 2 weeks of our summer vacation left, we are trying to fit in all of the essentials of summer--swimming, fair, and you can't leave out Chucke Cheese. Marleigh loves it-what child doesn't. When we do go, we only go on a week day. We made the mistake one time and went on a Saturday. I thought I had died and no, i didn't go to heaven. If you are a teacher the last place you want to be on a Saturday is where there are a lot ( and I mean a lot) of kids running around screaming out of excitement. I thought I was going to hyperventilate. Although, this visit was quite pleasant. The Chucke Cheese has remodel and there is a lot more room. (Thank Goodness!) We had a great time. Until next time - Live, Laugh, Love!

VBS Video

VBS 2008 Commencement

Marleigh and Malik going to VBS Commencement. Malik is our neighbor. He went to Bible School with us. Marleigh just woke up from a nap and wasn't in a camera mood. :-)

Here is Marleigh at our church's VBS Commencement. She loved going to our vacation bible school. She learned songs, bible stories and scriptures. It is amazing to see how God can touch the heart of a little child. My prayer is that she will love everyone the way the Lord loves them. She can be so strong headed at times. She can be so loving and then turn around and hit you for no reason. I know the Lord has big plans for her. She is a very special little girl.

!!!!! I seem to be having trouble downloading my video, so stay tuned. Hopefully, I can fix it!!!!!

God Bless the USA!

We spent the 4th of July at the Barnes' House. We had such a good time with family and friends. We played volleyball, horseshoes, and the children swam. The night ended will the traditional Paul Barnes fireworks show. They were absolutely beautiful. Marleigh thought they were pretty but didn't like how loud they were. Her daddy let her play with one sparkler-it made him too nervous. When the fireworks were going off, Paul made a patriotic CD. It really made me appreciate the country that I live in and the people that have fought for our freedom. To all of the soldiers who have fought and are fighting for us - Thank you for all you do - putting your lives on the line for our country. Also, I pray that the Lord blesses you and your family, that he keeps you safe from harm, and brings you home safely. God Bless the USA! Until next time - Live, Laugh, Love

Marleigh and Jiles having fun!!!

Marleigh and Jiles having fun in Rhea and Jeremy's backyard. They had fun throwing water on Rhea Anne. As you can see in this video our kids listen so well. Doesn't Marleigh look good in Jiles' swim trunks? She didn't have a suit with her so we had to be creative. Enjoy, Tara *Check out the cracks!!! Hee Hee!!!!
