Don't know if you remember that Marleigh was the flower girl of a friend of ours in May. She texted me and told me to check on the photographer's web site. There are a couple of pics from the wedding on there!

Reynolds' Catch Up and Baby Bump (Already, What!)
School is in full session. Marleigh asks every morning if "today is her last day of school?" I think she is still in summer mode. I wish we were. We were getting a tick off of our dog (turned out that it was his nipple we were trying to remove) and she kept consoling him. I asked her if she was going to be a veterinarian when she grows up and she replied, "No! I am going to be a rock star!" I said lovely! I hope she keeps more clothes on than the rock stars of today.
A lot of new "news" since my last post. I am 6 weeks pregnant. Yes, I know! Take a look at the pic below. I am already showing. What is up with that? I have already gained 3 pounds and have constant cravings of garlic texas toast, crescents, and biscuits. Which it funny due to the fact that I am not a bread eater. Question for all of the mother's of two or more: Did you start to show earlier with your second? I hope the answer is "yes"! When I was pregnant with Marleigh, I didn't really start to show until I was 31/2 months pregnant. I didn't have to start wearing maternity clothes until then. This pregnancy is going to be totally different based on my first 6 weeks. Marleigh is so excited! She has told everyone that "mommy has a baby in her belly!" She is going to be such a great big sister! She is so maternal, this baby is so lucky to have her. It is already so loved! She hopes it is a girl, so they can get"Barbie walkie-talkies" to talk to each other in the mornings. I asked her what if it is a boy-she said we will have to take them back and get "Spider man walkie-talkies". Well, that is all for now! I have forgotten how tired your are when you are pregnant. I have to have a nap or would like to take one daily! Keep us in your prayers! Until next time-live, laugh, love!

Weekend Full of Family Fun
Caleb, Tyler, Rachel and Marleigh at Popaw's birthday party.
This weekend has been filled with caughting up with family. Rodney's daughter, Carla, came in with her 3 year old, Jacey. Marleigh spent the day with them on Friday while I was at school. They swam, picked tomatoes from the garden, and played outside. Jacey loves to come to the farm. She gets so excited. Marleigh loves to go to the farm regardless, but she loves it more when there is someone her size to play with. They had a blast!
Saturday, Marleigh went shopping with her ganny and Rachel. Kelly's daughter, Kim and her family came in for his birthday from Chicago. Also, Todd (Kelly's son) came in from Richmond with his wife and son, Tyler. Kelly turned 65 August 8th. We celebrated by eating, eating, and laughing about the strangest things. We had a great weekend! Have a blessed week-live laugh, love

Our Day of School!
This is Marleigh's teacher Mrs. Croft at her school. I am so thankful that she loves to go there. I absolutely love it, as well. She has learned so much. She can tell you the 1st and the 16th president, what an author and an illustrator are. It is amazing what they have taught her. My hat goes off to 1st Baptist Preschool. We love you guys!

Another Summer Come and Gone!
Marleigh loves to draw and display her work everywhere around the house. She didn't draw the pictures, but she did stay in the lines. I think she is GT. (Doesn't every parent?) But for real, she is one smart cookie. It must be good genes. :-)
After reading my creative cousin's blog, I have decided to form my own "Top 10 Reasons Why I Love Summer." So here are my thoughts and favorite parts of summer.
10. Actually having time to clean house. I know that sounds lame, but really when do I really have alot of time to really get down and scrub. Even if I don't want to I can always say, "Well, I can do it tomorrow!"
9. I love to eat fresh vegetables from my neighbors garden. I don't eat homegrown green beans, though. They taste hairy.
8. I love to make extra money teaching summer school. It is really neat to see how students mature over the summer. But, did I mention, I love to make extra money teaching summer school.
7. I love being able to cook Marleigh breakfast in the mornings, if she is in the mood for something other than cereal. I just can't get myself out of bed early enough to cook her a real breakfast and be at school by 7:10 a.m. I wish I could be, but I am not super mom.
6. I love to watch Marleigh play with her cousins. She loves to play with them.
5. I love the summer clearance items at Old Navy. Don't you just love that store?
4. I love to plant my flower gardens in my front yard. The best was last year, I planted some flower bulbs. Don't ask me what kind? I just look to see what color they will become and if they are managable. Anyways, they came up this year! I felt so accomplished! It was pretty awesome!
3. I love to go swimming with Marleigh. It has been so neat to see her growth in the swimming department. Last year, she wouldn't even get off the steps. This year, she is slightly swimming, doing front flips in the shallow end and jumping off the diving board. (Over course with a ski belt on!)
2. I love to sleep in! I am not a morning person, at all. So during the 185 days of school, I pretty much want to throw my alarm clock up against the wall. Don't get me wrong, I am thankful that I am given another day, but it is torture getting out of bed.
1. I love summer because I feel like a better wife, mother, cook, maid, and all of the other job titles us mothers take on a daily basis. I feel so much more energized, rested, and domestic. I love my job and I am VERY thankful that I am able to be a home on breaks with my child.
Tomorrow, we are headed to our last summer activity-Hopkinsville Water Park. Stay tuned for pictures and an update on how that goes. This summer has been great. I know that this Fall, Winter, and Spring will be filled with alot more adventures, excitements, and joys.
Please be in prayer for all of our schools, administrators, teachers, and students. It is amazing to me to see what some of our students go through, even before they come to school every morning. Some of them even get themselves up, dressed, and fed all on their own. Please pray for our students and that their teachers will touch them in a special way to change their lives. :-) Until next time, live, laugh, love Tara Reynolds
