Hey, there! Sorry it's taken so long for me to post. Stephanie W. told me I better get with it, so here i am. Yesterday was crazy. I had a normal day at school, parent-teacher conferences until 5pm, picked up Marleigh from my moms, ran home to change and thats when my girl brought me to my knees.
Malic, our next door neighbor that is in 4th grade, has been going with us to church on Wednesday nights. Recently, he and his dad have moved a couple of streets over. Marleigh didn't know at the time, ran up to his door to get him so we could go to church. Bengi told her that he moved. She said with a frown, "Who is going to go to church with me?" She stood there for a moment thinking. She took off running in the front yard to our other neighbor's house where Rashaan lives with his Granny. She knocked and knocked. When no one answered, she walked slowly to me and said, "I don't have any friends to take with me?" She wouldn't stop until she made Bengi call Malic's dad to see if he could come with us.
This humbled me so much. If I/we as Christians would be more like this precious child, there would be a lot more saved people out there. It is our duty as Christians to not only witness, walk the walk and talk the talk, but to invite others to church.
Even adults can learn lessons or be reminded of what is really important from a 4-year old.

What a great story. Definitely something you should write down and share with Marleigh when she's older.
Matthew 18:1-5
1. At that time the disciples came to Jesus and asked, "Who is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven?" 2. He called a little child and had him stand among them. 3. And he said: "I tell you the truth, unless you change and become like little children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven. 4. Therefore, whoever humbles himself like this child is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven. 5. "And whoever welcomes a little child like this in my name welcomes me.
Thanks for another post! I look forward to them (even though I see you everyday, is that weird???) You gave me a mention!!!! Cooooool!!!! I know I am goofy...it is the little things in life.
Ok....waiting for a post that talks about the HAPPY BIRTHDAY you had yesterday!!!!! I hope you enjoyed your day shopping! The Opry was good....as Steven said during the performance "Brad Paisley has such a cute butt"! He was being sarcastic, but I really was thinking the same thing!!! Next year, we will have to plan a trip to celebrate your b-day and our anniversary that doesn't involve softball! (I guess that means it could be just a girl's trip!)
